Finalist at the 2024 Social Enterprise Awards
We’re delighted to share that Clear Voice has been shortlisted as a finalist at the 2024 UK Social Enterprise Awards.
Clear Voice is one of six finalists for the ‘Social Enterprise Innovation of the Year’ award, a new category recognising a social enterprise that has brought something truly innovative to market in the past year.
For Clear Voice, this innovation is the increased scale and scope of the InPower Project, our programme that fully funds refugees through the vocational education they require to become professional interpreters. We have added additional, entry-level courses, making the pathway to qualification even more accessible and we have introduced a mentorship scheme, pairing new students with those who have already completed the programme.
Rachael Tew, Head of Partnerships said:
“Clear Voice is incredibly proud of the InPower Project and the transformative impact it has for so many refugees. Its vocational education programme gives individuals the opportunity to build a new life in this country, putting their language skills to valuable use.”
“Being shortlisted for the 2024 UK Social Enterprise Awards is a fantastic acknowledgment of the innovative spirit and substantial social impact the programme has. This nomination is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our team in making the InPower Project a reality.”
